Brown Brush Algae
Has anyone ever had or heard of this in their or another reef tank, I've been looking all over the web and it appears it's mostly a freshwater issue. I'm 99% positive that it's what I have, the pictures are identical to what I have going on, patchy soft looking brown stuff. All my parameters are good, got GFO and phosphate reactor going. It's not horrible out of control but it's there and very hard to remove. I'm just curious if this is something that anyone else has had and how to get rid of it or what munches on it.

No I don't, I'm not even sure how to do it, would definitely make it easier to positively I.D but I'm sure it's the brown brush algae. In all the year's I've been doing reef tank's I've never had this stuff.

I have a really good pic of the stuff in my phone but I have no idea how to put it up on here.

I'll try this but not sure if it'll work, the pic is sideways but it gives you an idea, 20131106_201059.jpg
