What is that growing in my tank?!

Hey everyone, I am new to reef tanks and loving it so far! I haven't noticed within the last two months though that there is a strange green thing growing in my tank. It is very small, transparent green, and rose shaped. I have searched everywhere trying to find out what it is. Anyone have an idea?

The green thing looks like bubble algae. Not something we strive for in our tanks. There are many different views of getting rid of it. Not sure what else I am looking at in the pic.

I thought that it might have been bubble algae but it's odd bc it looks like green glass. :/ do you guys think I should pull it off?

I can't find any information on cheeto robs.mark, except for pics of the delicious cheese cheeto snack haha. Reefer 54, I looked up photos of halimeda and you may be right. I'm think that it is something else though, seems this is growing in a rose like shape and is transparent. Not sure if I should remove the mystery green thingy, or continue to let it grow. Part of me wants to let it do it's thing just so I can figure out what it is. Lol it's growing bigger every day. :/

In this hobby it's always to be safe then sorry. But I might want to look more about getting rid of it and see what else would pop up. If it turns out to be something beneficial to the tank then it would be a loss but if not then at least it would be gone before it possibly got worse.

No algae is good algae, unless you put it there yourself. Get it out, and check your phosphates.

Can't see it very well in the picture. Is it leafy or bulbous?
