Found a perfect storage tub for a frag tank cheap!

Picked a Christmas tree storage bin for 39. The dimensions are 52 x 20 x 14. Perfect size for a frag tank. I was gonna make one out of glass but this is perfect. Will post pics tomorrow.

I like your thinking! Maybe double up if it warps too much under pressure.

Good idea. I might build a little plywood around it. The plastic is pretty thick though.

I'm moving soon and I'll need to set up a temporary tank for all of my livestock and fish. I saw this large Christmas Tree storage box at the container store and it would be kind of perfect for what I need. Its really long, and shallow. I could throw the skimmer in there with a couple pumps and heaters and I think i would be good to go for two or three weeks.

My question is, do you guys think this thing will be able to hold water okay? I'm worried that the sides might give or something.

That all depends on the specific brand and it's specific construction/thickness
