Bubble Magus NAC 3.5 vs C3.5. Which to choose ?
Which is a better skimmer ? Almost same dimensions , both 8w, 200 l/h air intake. Only difference I can tell is the pump. The C3.5 has the rock sp1000 pump and the NAC has the Atman ph1100.
From the little amount I could find searching, the Rock is a little more quiet ? |

I believe the rocks are more available now than the atmans. Both are Chinese and essentially the same pump

I would look into the Sea Side aquatics I believe that they use Sicce pumps.

I hate my Bubble Magus with a passion. When I can afford a better skimmer I am going to use that one for target practice.

Only reason I was looking at bubble magus is because I have had decent results in the past and I need a small footprint ... And something under 180-200 if possible . |

Looked at the sea side aquatics cs3.5 . Same as the bubble magus but comes with the sk200. Best I can find is $219 . Is $60 extra worth the SSA rather than the BM ?

I have a 40 gallon with around 15 in the sump. I want to get one rated for 75-100 . That aquamaxx seems nice but it's rated for 175 gallons. Lol I think thus a little over kill. I don't mind using a bigger skimmer , just want a smaller footprint. I had the Em 100 on a 60 cube and liked it pretty well.

I didn't see your links before I posted last . Thanks for providing the links. It looks like some people had good results 50-75 gallons with the Aquamaxx . I'm just afraid Its too overkill for my tank . It will probably have a medium load with mixed reef. Maybe I'll start another thread a little later and get more users to chime in . That 11% discount seems nice ! So if I'm going to buy I might as well buy soon . Only thing that sucks is the water level. I usually run 8" . Seems like it does well at 9.5
