Help ID this coral
I've had my reef tank set up for almost 1.5 years now and I noticed this popped up about a month ago. Anyone know what it is? It's about the size of a silver dollar now. I was thinking a carpet anemone but its high up on my rock and has never moved. It appears to be growing in a mat on the rock.

Could be a hairy mushroom, hard to tell.

Definitely not a carpet nem. My guess would be mushroom as well.

That's good, I was really hoping it wasn't a carpet nem. I've had a green hairy mushroom in the tank before, but this doesn't have the center "mouth" that the green mushroom did. The rest does really resemble a hairy mushroom though.
