Hypo and corals

I may have an Ick problem. It would be nice to not pull the whole tank. Is hypo salinity an option with soft and LPS?

Nope. Hypo salinity treatment will kill your corals. All the time tested ich treatments are not reef or invert safe.

8-9 weeks at full salinity without fish is the only safe way to go for invertibrates and corals.

I thought I was setting up a QT but maybe it makes more sense as a grow out tank for 2 months. Assuming I diagnose correctly as Ick today, does it make sense to see if any fish have " immunity" or will I just be fooling myself?

If its ICH your fooling yourself, I lost all my fish to it a month ago, that or velvet. I tried to set up an emergency HT to treat them with cupramine and they all still died.
