Biocube live rock rubble

Hey all!

My biocube is doing really good about a year and 4 months now and I have a question for my biocube filtration. First of all my setup is chamber one zip well right now I have a small heater because I made saltwater and was stupid and forgot that it was out in my garage and it was like 40 degrees and lowered my water temp. But chamber 1 zip, chamber 2 inTank media filter which has 4 levels ( comes with three but I modified the mod ) and I put phosban purigen and chemi pure elite and of course filter floss on top. Albo the inTank fudge with just LRR right now planing on putting chaeto just hasn't happened yet. And 3rd chamber zip except return pump which will be upgraded to a rio 6hf shortly after Christmas! But my question is what if I moved the LRR into the 1st chamber but leave enough space to be able to siphon up the detritus and place a heater in there and then a skimmer for the 2nd chamber where the fuge was. Just thinking that the LRR would get more flow through it in the 1st chamber and I could put a heater in too but also have the skimmer too, in case you didn't know I like overkill haha go big or go home! Well filtration wise not tank wise but filtration wise! Any thoughts?

I personally wouldn't bother with a skimmer. my 75 gallon I believe benefited from having a skimmer. I run my 29 biocube without a skimmer, only use purigen and the live rock that's in the display... otherwise the back chamber is empty currently. I have a lot of SPS and LPS... my biggest problem currently is having to trim things down every couple months cause my LPS and SPS keep growing together!

only thing non-stock is my MP-10ES and 3 panorama pro's to replace the stock florescent lighting.

What about a mangrove seed? I would get like a cup of sand and put it in the back and cut a whole on my lid and I think I would have enough natural light coming through my bedroom window or I have lights to put up also do you just do constant water changes? I plan to do like a gallon or 2 a week and then 5 every 3-4 weeks I have 40lbs of sand and just an estimate ( I started with 35lbs of LR originally) I probably have around 40-45lbs now I tired to do a deep sandbed too was that a good or bad idea?

Is that your nem in the lower right corner by the clown? Mine climbed down like that too! Don't know why was in a spot at the top for like 7 months and one day just moved! Although I might have ticked it off when I moved the rock it was next to

I think you may be looking at a hammer coral? Are you talking about the green tentacles with purple tips at the base of my rock?

I wanted a nem but haven't bought one because I've been told by too many people they can decide to move and will force their way through whatever is there...

I know what you mean I have 2 corals right now a GSP which was my first because I wanted it to grow on my back wall and a sebae anemone I put the GSP in first then the nem so it could move around find where it likes best then I'd give it a couple weeks to months and start putting more coral in my tank
