I need help woth this problem please

so I woke up yesterday morning and I noticed that my 29 tank had a decrease in water level. I found the problem of the leak. my stank is made of particle board and the base is wet and I can see that it sponged along the entire bottom. I think the best thing to do is replace the stand with a better stand. my question is how do I go about moving the tank. I have 30 lbs of live rock and sand. I also have some corals that are in the tank that I have glued into the rock work.

Any suggestions would be great. thanks!

Get your new stand ready and either next to or in front of the old one. Drain the tank to enough for you and another person to pick it up. It may be best to have a third person to help do this. Have two people pick up the tank, the third person removes the old stand and places the new stand in its place. Then, you set down the tank and re-fill it.

+1, with a small tank by simply draining most of the water you should be okay to pick up the tank. Your corals will be fine out of water for a short duration.

This may be a stupid question but did you already address where the leak is coming from in the tank? I would also get a few buckets, fill with water, put the live rock in there, get another container and put the coral in there if they can be separated from the rock and reglued when you are done. if not just make sure they sit well in one of the buckets on top. 3-4 buckets should be plenty. no need to move the sand. drain it, do the move, put the bucket or two of old water in, you should have at least one bucket with only water, put a bucket of fresh mix in, start moving everything back in as you fill up the tank with the old water from the buckets when you remove the rock from them. all said and done you should have a mostly filled tank and just top it off with whatever you need to with a fresh mix.
