New 4 chamber sump/refuge & filter

Hey hey!

So i am excited because i will be getting a new sump/refuge soon that has 4 chambers and will be hopefully solving my limited space issue... until i get a bigger tank of course........

here is the chamber layout (i have a corner overflow so chamber 1 is under that):
1 2
3 4

Chamber 1: refuge and inlet from overflow
Chamber 2: Skimmer
Chamber 3: ATO and holds a reactor or other equipment
Chamber 4: Return Pump

I have decided to not use a filter sock and now i am thinking of not using any sponges because they can trap (the nasty stuff) and when removed for cleaning they can release the nasty in my system.

I have a skimmer rated for a 120 and im going to have rock and chaeto in my Fuge... and a gfo/carbon reactor in the ATO section.

Will this be enough filtration?

Good for you. I just finished breaking a baffle and sock holder out of my fugue. I had a remote fuge going but it was too dangerous. I now have my skimmer in the overflow chamber and then a huge chamber now as a fuge. Good luck with your new system.

I believe you want your skimmer setup after your fuge, otherwise all your pods and other good stuff will get filtered out.
