hitchhiker ID please
What are these things? Are they harmful?
The first picture is about ~5mm, white, fuzzy thing with a mouth on the top center. My emerald crab currently have 2 of these things attached on him which don't seem to bother him. On the second picture, I'm pertaining to the 1-2mm, round, flat, white spots attached on my live rocks and now starting to grow on my tank wall as well. Both hitchhikers stay in place. Thanks in advance for your help. |

First is a harmless sponge. Second pic is hard to tell. It may be spirorbid worms, also harmless.

Thanks for the reply! Do you think I should try to remove the sponges from my emerald crab though?
