DSA Neo 105 Build

Well after years of running a less than adequate 40 Gallon Breeder HOB system I recently decided to upgrade to a larger tank with proper filtration system. I hope to eventually run a SPS dominant tank. The tank was delivered last Saturday and tomorrow I start on plumbing....it's my first build....little nervous about the plumbing aspect. Here is my stocking list:

DSA Neo 105 Rimlees Reef Ready Tank w/ Black Silicone
Trigger Systems Ruby 30S Sump / Refugium
(1) Maxspect Razor 16000k (May need to buy another for proper spread)
Bubble Magnus Curve 7 Skimmer
Reef Octopus Diablo DC 3500 Return Pump
Vortech MP 40
Vertex UF 15 Reactor for running MatrixCarbon
Apex System w/ Breakout Box for ATO Top-off
Sicce Syncra 2.0 for Reactor and Chiller Circulation
Miracle Mud w/ Rock Rubble in Refugium
(2) Ecoxotic Stunner Strips w/ Reflectors to Illuminate Refugium
(2) Eheim Jäger 150W Heaters
Custom Acrylic Container for RODI / Auto top-off
JBJ Arctica Chiller 1/10HP
85 Pounds Dry Fiji Rock from Bulk Reef
80 Pounds of Special Grade Reef Sand (live and dry)
Sch 80 PVC Pipe & Fittings

Will follow up w/ some photos of tank, sump and rock

How do you like the tank? Build quality? I'm looking at getting one myself.

I have a DSA Neo 105 build in progress as well. I love build quality, very close to a custom tank in a good way. I have not found one flaw in the silicon and glass yet.

Those are nice tanks. I'm getting ready to order the same one. If your's is a DSA stand can you tell me what the door measurement is. I'm specifically wondering if a 36" long sump will fit though the doors. Even if removing them would allow it that would be ok.

Nice build setup! I just ordered my DSA Neo 105, right before Christmas. I also wanted a tank with black silicone as well, looks better and not an algae magnet.

Look forward to seeing the progress.

Did you get your tank yet? BTW thanks for pointing me to Blue Earth Corals...nice guys. I'm on the fence as to whether or not to go with a DSA stand or something else so haven't ordered yet. You get a 7 year warrantee fromr DSA on the tank if you put it on one of their stands so I'm siding towards doing that. BEC told me only a couple of weeks to get the tank and stand.

No problem, I haven't gotten the tank yet. I'm having a Evolution Aquatics build me a steel tank stand and custom sump. I'm 6'5 so I need a taller stand than the standard stand that DSA makes and I want steel, so it allows me more access for easier maintenance.

I dont think you can go wrong with that tank and the price.

Steel stand those are really nice. Is Evolution Aquatics local? Good luck with the build. The tank is just what I have wanted for a while and the price is good. I almost called and ordered today but decided to do a little more homework on the stand.

They are in Pompano. They have a Facebook page. The owner is Vincente, cool guy and very helpful. He does custom sumps and other custom acrylic stuff.
