75G Update: 6 months later w/ new SPS
Hi everyone,
My tank has been stable for the past few months and I decided to get some SPS corals. I can see how some folks get addicted to keeping these corals. They're beautiful to look at. I had a macro lens or two lying around and decided to make a short video of my new additions as well as various other corals in the tank. Some of the shots are a little blurry due to the distortions from the slightly warped acrylic. Hopefully, I will get to upgrade to a better tank soon. Photo from day 3 of set up. 6 months later: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89To2zk55J4 Current water parameters: pH 8.3 Alkalinity 9.5 Magnesium 1400 ppm Calcium 480 ppm Nitrates is ~3 ppm Phosphate at 0.08 ppm Water flow: Three 850 GPH circulation pumps. (~33x turnover.) I'm currently dosing: Red Sea Reef Energy Amino Acids & Vitamins Sicce HyperCoral Kent Vitamin C I notice that the polyps aren't extending as much as I've seen in other tanks. Does anyone have any advice? |
