Carpet nem stuck. Help please

I got a really nice carpet nem today but it came in a basket and I dont want to damage it trying to get it out. Help please.

A fellow reefer told me to pry the edge of the foot off enough to get your finger behind it. Then I just pulled it off slowly and carefully.

I've had luck with a silicone spatula.

So far so good. Fingers crossed. It attatched its foot and hasnt moved and its very sticky.

i suggest you not feed it at this time, you might be doing more harm than good. i dont feed my new nems until after 2 months.

I feed my anemone once I think they are well, not infected. IMO, they need the energy and raw materal to repair themself afer got capture and shipp across the world. Once they completly recovered, then I feed them until the get to the size I want.

I agree with Pinkskunk that feeding sick (infected) anemones can do a lot more harm than good

Gig is still doing good. Its getting big because the clowns feed it every day. The clowns love it and the attack me if I get anywhere near it.
