Palm tree coral dying?

Hi again also my feather coral/palm tree coral is dying off it has green algae growing round the tops how do I save it thanks? My parameters are 34 salinity ph8.4 nitrate no3 7.5 calcium 490 magnesium 1400 kh 4.9 13.7 can I save it?

If I am reading your post correctly your no3 is 7.5? it should be no higher then 0.5 I would suggest water changes and have your phosphates checked as well algae thrives on phosphates.

Cheers for the reply im I bit new at keeping coral off my nitrate no3 color chart its between 5.0 and 10 mg/l is that o.k its a bit difficult to get 0ppm but will keep up water change at 16 L a week its only a 80L tank thanks again man have a good day peace.

I am confused by this. Dkh should be around 9-10 and I'm unsure as to what the 13.7 is for.
You can raise alkalinity with sodium bicarbonate but has to be gradual or it might affect your Ph to where it may be deleterious to the whole system. Read more on this.
Let us know and we can probably give you a better informed recommendation.

How did you introduce it to the tank? I had this happen recently when I introduced a green variety to the tank. It died off, then the orange variety that was already in the tank started to shrink back. Turned out there were little tiny white Nudibranchs that came in on the green frag.
