In general, I feel that open aquascaping is more pleasing over time. However, I won't be viewing your tank, your wife and you will be. Go with what pleases and know that you can always rearrange.

I actually prefer the third because it seems the most natural to me. I think 1 or two could be improved by adding a little bit more front to back dimension, but that's just my personal preference. Between one and two, I like two better.

Thanks everybody for the advice. Also will these scapes be good for zoas and sps as far as placement goes?

3 for sure. Looks natural, provides a little hiding for the Occelaris and I think you should still have plenty of space for coral placement. Also, adding some lower ledges in the front would be helpful for lower light corals plus would add some depth to your aqua scape.

I like both 1 and 3, but think 3 is slightly more appealing. As suggested above, perhaps angle it out some so the left is slightly closer to the front of the tank. That option, 3, using the whole concept of thirds and depth nicely and has a nice natural look.

I like number 3, but why not just go with the one you like the most. Also depends on what you pan to put in there. #2 might be best if you are planning on putting any branching spa in there.

Another vote for #3... Looks more natural with more open space between rocks.

My vote is for #2. I get bored with the "stack o rocks" commonly seen in tanks.

Thanks all! I'll try to angle the rocks more to add some depth. Bad part is the tank is only 12" wide and 16"w at the max
