Spectrapure ro/di

Thinking about getting a spectrapure 5 stage ro/di unit. Right now I am using a 4 stage Maxima and need to replace all filters an resin. Just wondering if the upgrade is worth it. Anybody use this unit and what kind of results do you get?

I have a SP 90 GPD 5 stage as well. Never had a single issue. Would definitely recommend it.

Can't you just add one more canister to your unit?

+1. Have the same unit with auto flush and added a booster to it to max out efficiency. The DI is lasting a bit longer now, and my output has increased. Awesome unit

I lost my aquarium in a move recently due to my ro malfunctioning.

I retrofitted my RO to mimic the maxcap and it has been running great since.

Highly recommend the upgrade.

If you guys think that a booster pump is a good way to increase your DI capacity, perhaps you should invest in a 99% membrane as well. =)

I would really recommend a new membrane. The 99% will extend the life of your DI.
