Little white lines in my rock
I purchased a few pieces of live rock for my fairly new 36g SW tank and after a month they have all these small white lines growing all over the rock. They look like little roots that are getting bigger over time. What are they?

Typically they will be feather dusters - filter feeders and they are a good addition. Do you see something that looks like a cone shaped feather at one end?

Probably some sort of worm. A sponge is another possibility.
