Plumbing/return pumps

Hey all, I have a 55 gallon all glass tank that was manufactured in 94. I plan on drilling this tank and using the BRS 700GPH overflow. So my question is, what size pipes would i need to use, what size bulkhead do i need and what size hole do i need to drill for said bulkhead, and lastly what size return pump do i need to use as well as plumbing for it. Thanks in advance! and thanks for putting up with my lack of knowledge haha

First and foremost, you need to be absolutely certain that your tank is not made with tempered glass as that will shatter when you try to drill it.

Im assuming that its an all glass aquarium. It has a green label with All Glass Aquarium on it as well as a manufacture date on the bottom glass

Check with Aqueon (previously All-Glass). I would contact them via 1-800-255-4527 or use the contact form on their website at www.aqueonproducts.com/about/contact-us
