Aquamaxx HOB-1 Collection Cup Cleaning

Picked up the Aquamaxx HOB-1 about a month ago and love it except for cleaning the collection cup. It's really hard to clean the inside bottom really well and wanted to see if anyone has found a good method to do it.

Yup, a bottle brush is the ticket.

I've been running one for about a month. Great skimmer.

Picked up one from target and doesn't quite do the trick. The bottom of the collection cup is just too narrow. Might reach out to the manufacturer.

I found tonight a flexible tube cleaning brush at petco for about $3.99 . I haven't tried it yet, will let you know.

It does work fairly well ..it is a little awkward being that the handle is flexible, but the brush can get down into those narrow spots in the cup pretty well. ..still not perfect but better that the other brushes I have.

Aquamaxx HOB-1 Collection Cup Cleaning

Going to swing by Petco tomorrow. The bottom of the cup is getting pretty disgusting
