mag 9 or mag 12 as return
I have a 150g reef with 75g sump/fuge. I had a mag 9 and a mag 12 for returns. I just bought 2 tunze 6105 for circulation so now i can take one off. What pump should stay?

I'd say with that much water volume I'd go with the 12.

I was thinking the same. The 9 is gone and the 12 is working. I can not believe how powerful these Tunze 6105's are. WOW.....

So I guess my mag 18 and Korialia 2750gph is too much for my 125....I don't see how people are running these large tanks with small pumps. I guess cause ive always had large aggressive fish who are nasty. If I don't have a ton of movement detritus just settles.

I've used both in the past and both produce lot of heat.
Check out Sicce hi flow, much lower heat and very quiet. |
