deltec mce600 question
i have a 30 gallon tank and im hanging the skimmer on the tank with out a sump. it seems to be skimming pretty well, but is this a bad setup since it isnt skimming the surface of the water? not sure if this makes a difference.
also anyone else have success with this skimmer on thier small tanks. i have alittle white fuzz hair algae and im dissapointed because i thought this skimmer woul;d keep my tank spotless. thx for any posts |

I used one on my 50 gallon for several years, and my son in law is currently using it, it is a good skimmer as HOB skimmers go, and pulls a nasty skimmate. If I was going to use HOB skimmer the Deltec 600 would be it, but they are pricey.

I have a 65g and I have a mce600. The older model actually. It pulls one full cup of dark brown to almost black smelly skin mate weekly.
