Houston area LFS with Radium?
Anyone know of a good LFS in the Houston area that might be running radium lighting over a display? It has been many years since I've seen one, and all the LFSs back home have gone to LEDs. I'm traveling through Texas the next few days, and would like to see one if I can. Close to the Hobby area would be nice, as car availability is limited. I'll be in the Dallas Love area the day after, so suggestions there would be appreciated too.
Thanks

All about fish has nice display tanks and I think still runs MH, and is pretty close to Hobby
City Pets does ALOT of business and has allot of saltwater but I'm not sure if they run MH anymore. It's probably 20 minutes from Hobby if you take the beltway and there is no traffic. Almost all the businesses have jumped on the LED bandwagon. Funny part is I went by the Fish Gallery the other day. It's literally a few blocks from the highest priced real estate in Houston, 4 miles from the Post Oak/Galleria area. They are running kessil lights on all their coral tanks, and when I asked how they liked them the guy looked at me and said... honestly....run radiums...lol |

Thanks, I'll try to check them out. I found a place in SanAntonio yesterday that was running a Radium next to a Gen 1 Radion. No comparison, the Radium was 2x brighter and 10x the color. The guy was really nice, but kept trying to sell me hydras when I told him I already had a diy led/t5 combo and a par meter... so I know what I should be getting from my corals, but am not.
