Kessil 350 and apex controller?

Alright I want to get a apex controller but I want to know if their is any way of me being able to use the sunrise sunset functionality with my old kessil 350? Any possible ways let me know please.

Short answer is no. Long answer is someone on the forum did get it to work but you'd have to search for the thread to find out how. Look in the DIY section. I think that's where the thread was.

FWIW, sunrise and sunset are simply nice to have. I wouldn't feel the need to replace the 350 if you're happy with it just to get the sunrise/sunset. The Apex is worth every penny IMO. I have a Jr for my biocube and just purchased a full Apex for my 60 cube.

I didnt want to spend all the money if I couldn't capitalize on the sunrise sunset feature.

You can program a Kessel to do a sunrise and sunset. They only go down to 12% before turning off, so there is an off period. It can be done though as I did it. You just can't get the really dim light to be gradual.

I understand, but the Apex is far more than a sunrise/sunset controller. I'd have one even if my lights weren't dimmable.
