Does anyone else do this ?
I have just about every food under the sun for my fish and corals. Other than the seaweed i feed, and the hang feed corals, I mix it all together and drop via turkey baster,so it kinda confined before the circulations takes over and feeds the whole tank..
"QUESTION" I hear its bad to unthaw and refreeze. I always rinse my mysis in some tank water(separate bowl) and then scoop a bit of everything and on one blow feed everything. What I want to do is, reuse those little trays the cubes come in and premix the food and drop it in the little cubes, one by one, then just feed a cube at a time. I had to do that when we went on vacation and it worked great for my MIL to feed them. Just not so sure if it wont cause problems in the long run. Any thoughts ? |

I am new to this but Would you refreeze something and eat it.I believe that is the thinking behind it.I think the idea is how would you apply it to your own food.

Check your livestock and rocks. If animals are fat and happy and algae didn't take over your tank - you are fine.

I make my own as well then freeze it. When it's time to feed I just thaw and dump out the water.
