First Hammer Coral Qustion..!

This is my first Hammer...I am wanting to know if the placement is ok...the base is hard so I wasn't sure if I should mount is in or near the sand bed...this is where I have placed it now...just inside a hole in the rock.

Looks good to me. As long as it has ample room to inflate without being smashed in to the rocks and does not fall over it should be fine.

My experience is that each head will continue to divide into two, so the growth is exponential quite quickly. My frag has gone from 2 heads at least 35 (I stopped counting) in 1.5 years.

It will be fine in the hole. the base will become more dense and grow slowly in diameter. when the hole is full it will grow up ward.
