Back to t5's from led's
My LED's are going dim and I am seriously thinking of going back to the T5. Has anyone done this by adding new T5s along with the existing LEDs. Thanks, Bubba Shirl

Just this past weekend added some dual bulb T5s. I had to rearrange my LED strips the long way and put those closer to the back and the T5s in front. You can tell the lighting is different but it still looks okay. The LEDs are brighter. I decided to add some T5s because some of my LPS were dying in the long run and I think the LEDs are lacking something. I have the ecoxotic LEDs. I think as long as you go lengthwise with the lights being the same type the length of the aquarium it will look okay.

How old and what brand are these?
Curious because of those 50,000 hour claims. |
