Photon 24 over a 54 gallon corner tank

I want to purchase a ReefBreeder photon 24 with 90 or 120 degree optics for my 54 gallon corner tank. I want to avoid buying 2 fixtures and was wondering if anyone has experience with these tanks and leds. I am currently running a 6x34w 4xati blue+ 1xpurrple plus 1xcoral+. The tank is half sps half lps. What i am worried about is the light spread. I eventually plan on retrofitting the tank with 2x24w ho t5's for supplement but want to make sure sps will be ok in the meantime. I would go to halide, but a chiller is not in the budget and i also want to see what the led fuss is all about! Thanks for all of the help in advance!

The 24 will be plenty with 120 optics.
I have a 16" unit with 120 optics, 8" off the water surface, and I get full coverage front to rear and side to side.
