Frogspawn Shriveling

Hi, I have had a frogspawn coral for one month now. It was doing great, but then I added a couple of fish to the 2 month old, 30 gallon aquarium. Two of the three heads are shriveled up and retracted. It did fall off its rock once. However, the third one is doing excellently and is even splitting. How can this be?

Nitrate: 10 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Ammonia: 0 ppm
pH: 8.1

How is your lighting and flow? The good head may be getting its needed/desired low and lighting. Also what is your salinity level at and things like calcium, alk and magnesium - stoneys need these so you'll need to know them and monitor them. It they are low it can have and adverse affect on the heada.

I've found alkalinity had a large effect on frog spawn.

Fish nipping at it? If it fell into the sand and sat for awhile, it could have damaged the heads. They are somewhat delicate. Give it time.
