Phosphate Question
A week ago I tested my phosphates and they were reading 0. Yesterday they were reading .05. I was going to switch out my GFO, but got to thinking about I was reading somewhere that corals actually like a little bit of phosphate, correct? So I am assuming that there is fine line to be considered when managing phosphate levels. Is .05 too high or considered borderline?

I use 0.04 as the maximum level, but algae growth is a better indicator of when to replace GFO.

I think it depends on the types of corals, SPS/LPS. I change GFO once a month along with water changes.
