Question Clear pvc?

Im looking for places i can purchase clear pvc pipping and fittings anyone know of any?

because being able to see things ie case of a clog or anything , can be very useful in emergency situations

Yeah but will also attract algae big time.

sure if there's a significant light source then algae will grow, install two unions and clean when necessary, problem solved , if you don't clean then stuff will build up obviously

Because im setting up a uv sterilizer and i want to see flow in and out of it and want to do the same to my return pump.

You do know you really arnt gonna see flow going through a pipe right? Unless you see an air bubble zip past. I wish ya the best but to me it will be more of a pain cleaning it all the time than your thinking.

I was figuring being able to see the flow when the bubbles pasted by once in a while and i want it mostly for the uv to make sure it has flow and to make sure the uv light is working im not going to need much just enough.

Let us know how it goes please, intrested to hear how it works out. Make sure to add ball valves for when you need to remove it, or just get true union ball valves.

It wont be for a couple more months because i just purchased my genesis water change system so im tapped out right now

the uv by no means will eliminate algae growth or we would all have them and no algae in our tanks. most good uvs have a spot on them that allows you to see that the light is working.
