CB Shrimp lost his pinchers!! Will he survive?
Long story short, his two large pinchers became detached in a horrible accident.
 Will he survive? Currently is doing fine in a hospital tank. |

Just the loss of the main arms will not kill the shrimp, and they will be back next time it molts. I have a Dusky Wrasse in my tank that is always nipping an arm off my CB, and they are always back next molt. If the body of the shrimp was damaged, that might mean a different prognosis ....
