Durso overflow noise

I am planning to setup a standard due overflow tank in my familyroom with the sump in the basement. I know the durso overflow has some noise when the sump is under the stand. But my question is will the noise be eliminated mostly by moving the sump to the basement? If not I might have to go to a herbie type of setup but the herbie as I understand do not work very well with dual overflows.

a durso is "noisy" when the flow rate is too high through it..
theoretically moving the sump to the basement will create more head pressure and reduce the flow rate of the pump..

had duel overflows with Dursos and 1000gph to basement sump. Display was silent but gurgling in the lines annoying so converted to Herbie. Totally pleased on how it worked out.
