Seachem Phosguard question
Hi. I have the phosban reactor and while waiting for GFO come in can i put phosguard inside the reactor for now. I think reactor is just same as canister filter in term of up flow to maximize effecicency of phosphate control.

Yes there is no issue running it in a reactor

If you see any corals close up (leathers, etc.), you might stop using it as it is possible for released aluminum to irritate some corals.

Yes, so they claim. I've measured it myself.
If you find no closed corals, I doubt there is any concern. if you do see them, you'll know why.

I have heard the same but have never experienced it myself. I have run seagel in the past which is seachems matrix carbon and phosguard mixed
