PLEASE HELP! What type of coral is this?
It's white and has a thin, orange rim that glows. Obviously new to the hobby, just need help identifying. Thank you!

Not the greatest pic to try to identify but they almost look like mushrooms that don't look healthy. A better pic would help the id process

It does seem unhealthy. It's a coral we basically got for free attached to a live rock at the pet store. Just not sure how to help it

How old is the tank? Fully cycled?

Our aqaurium fully cycled, but it's only a few months old! I think it' got hit against something while putting it in. There are a few of the mushrooms on the rock. Some of them look healthier than others

Give it time is about all you can do at this point. Mushrooms are resilient. In a month or so it may be good as new. You can actually grow new ones by cutting healthy ones into pieces so there is a good chance that this will heal after a while.

I'm pretty sure they will come back. They might be really nice orange mushrooms when they come back.

Imitate my system parameters (see my sig line) and they should recover nicely.

Seen your other post, I'm not going to be so optimistic like OP, you can get all your parameters in check but I personally think it's too late to save them. Please tell me I'm wrong in a few weeks, I would love to be wrong at this point. And if you do save them please let the rest of us know how you did it.
