Removing labels on plumbing

So I picked up some fittings for my plumbing, and some parts have sticky labels with the barcodes. I'm guessing goo-gone is not ideal for surfaces that will be exposed to my system's water, so is there a reef safe alternative to remove these labels?

Thanks, ZB

Vinegar will help eat at the glue or use some sandpaper.

Could try alcohol as well. It evaporates quickly.

Is that reef safe, should I soak the parts in vinegar or RO water after using the lacquer thinner? Do you recommend a specific brand?

Are you talking about the outside print on the piping. If so, yes alcohol should do the trick.

Or use PVC cleaner to remove the stickers and print from the outside. That is what u used. It evaporates quickly and is safe for drinking water pipe.

Heat gun on low or hair dryer. Should allow you to just peel them right off.
