DIY Sump for 93 cube

Just running a sump plan past yall, I have never setup a tank with a sump before so this is going to be a learning curve. Inside stand dimensions are 29x29inches. Im planing a 28x18x16H sump, with Speedwave DC 790gph return. have not decided on a skimmer yet, but its between the Super Reef Octopus XP1000sss or the Reef Octopus NWB150, the latter being a space hog. i have done up a quick drawing for yall to take a look at, my question being, Is there going to be a big issue with the skimmer area that small, for the size skimmer thats in there? Ide like to keep as much room for a Fuge as i can. drawing is drawn to .25"=1"

Or has anyone had experience with either of these skimmers and what would be your recommendation?
