Any thoughts on how to turn this strangely placed bulkhead into something workable?

This tank came from a liquidated fish store. The 3" hole in the corner was where it was plumbed into the tank next to it and the stores filtration system.

I'd like to do a beananimal drain setup if I can. Any thoughts on a custom side overflow maybe?

I'd just use the glass block as a guide for the coast to coast overflow and go with a bean drain.

You could also just use the existing hole for one of the drains, but it'll make the tank harder to place since you'll have one of the drain holes coming from the side of the tank instead of the back.

Or drill 2 more holes in that side of the tank and put the overflow and plumbing along that side. It won't get as much surface skimming, but I'd imagine it would work just fine.
