when my calcium was low, I noticed my rock, shells and lps skeletons would kind of fall apart in my old tank. it looks like your levels are normal though. hopefully someone else can chime in

Ive asked this before and never got a clear answer. Ive had it happen to a few of my Euphyllia. It doesnt usually kill them but you have to be careful if you ever move it they become brittle.

is it happening to anything else in the tank? idk if some kind of parasite or maybe some kind of bacterial thing could be going on? do you dip corals or QT them before you put them in the DT?

test for ammonia nitrite nitrate calcium alk and mag. take a water sample to the LFS and have them test it for the same to get a second opinion. IME its usually water quality issues- but then again it could be a pest, parasite, bug, worm, lighting, flow or fish giving you problems also.

All other coral In the tank is fine, everything else is sps and growing like weeds. Tests all came out fine. Only happening to 1 of the 6 stalks. It's been in the tank for over a year and I QT everything and it was the last new coral I got.

Tank specs
30g
2 years old
1 radion ecotech LEDs

2 clowns
1 chromis

6 acropora
1 torch coral

Thanks everyone for the replies!
