PetSmart responds to Petco $1/gallon sale

Just got an email from PetSmart:
10-50 gallon tanks are $2 per gallon... However this is for a tank and hood (with light) combination. TopFin tanks only.

This is great for a QT IMO. Makes me wish I waited on the getting a QT during that Petco sale

Actually comes out to around the same price depending on what size tank you buy. I bought my 20L for $20 and my top was $21.

Hmmm, the tops I saw for 10 gallons were usually around $30, though they may have been LED (these tops use bulbs). Still a great deal if you missed the petco sale though

I think I'll still use just a sheet/ panel of polycarbonate Good info to have though.

Wow, if a LFS near me had that I'd get a 60-70 gallon cube and start that seahorse tank I've been thinking of doing!

It's Uncle Bill's in Greenwood. I think they have other locations in Indianapolis as well. Not sure when they're running the sale, but you could probably either call and ask or just check their weekly flier on their website.
