neon goby size of pin
I just received my neon goby through the mail, I am so afraid to put him in the tank, he is acclimating now, but I am scared he is going to get sucked through the filtration and I will never see him again. I have a 24 gallon nanocube. what should I do?

Well you could and should quarantine him anyway to make sure he is eating well and healthy. If you're not set up for that then in he must go. Shut off any powerheads until he gets acclimated. The standard filtration of the nanocube should be ok for him. If he can't fight that then he was gonna die anyway.

They fatten up quick and are pretty strong swimmers, they tend to hang out on the rock work in my experience and stay away from the overflow.
During feeding I usually shut off my power heads/wave makers, before turning them back on I always make sure my neon cleaner goby is no where near them. |

Thanks for the info, he seems to be doing good staying on the bottom eating some copepods.
