Looks like a little aptasia on the glass. If i get them on the glass i use rigid airline to suck them out while scraping against the glass at the same time.

If you have one on the glass that means that you will have many more. When you scrape it off be sure to get it all any small piece left behind will grow a full new Aptasia. If you find anymore look up how to kill them they can end up taking over your tank and believe me you don.t want that.
If you find some on the rocks DONT scrape it off you will just be helping it to reproduce. They reproduce by pedal laceration. |

It's a hydroid jelly. It's normal an they'll disappear on their own.

Thanks for the quick resplies. So basicly get rid of em if I see em, regardless of what it exacly is, is what I gather. If its a jelly no big deal but if its aptasia, squish the problem now.

I'm going with hydroid as well. If your build thread is correct it looks like you have only added a cuc at this point? If you are worried it is aiptasia look up the pros and cons of peppermint shrimp and decide if you want them. If so put a couple in now while there are no fish and don't feed them for a week or so. Peppermint shrimp will only eat small aiptasia and you usually have to make them hungry to do it. It's kind of like bad veggies to you. If someone put a pizza and brussel sprouts in front of you which would you eat. Same with peppermint shrimp. If you are feeding mysis and tasty pellets they will eat that over the aiptasia.
Whatever it is there will be some you don't see in the rocks. It is a fact of life in a reef tank. If there is one, there are more.

Yup. Just my CUC so far. Now if i get a peppermint will it have any issues with a intended candycane pistol/goby pair? Or just let him munch for a while then take him back?

Doubtful unless he journeyed into their burrow. The pistol would kill him if he did. Peppermint shrimp have been known to eat some corals though or tear them apart to get the good that the coral eats.
