+1.
On some of the hottest days here in Stockton, my tank would fluctuate between 80-86 over about a 12 hour period. I had four 110 watt VHO's over a 60 gallon breeder. They were in a canopy with no sort of fan for cooling. Anyways, it was a mixed reef and none of the inhabitants seem to mind. As long as the temperature doesn't change TOO quick, you should be ok. in natural reef temp can swing between 7-10 degrees between day and night but the key is its a steady consistent going up or coming down in temp its not a sudden change.
in a home reef tank you can expect temp swing as well when lights are on or temp in the house change due to heating or ac failure or more usage etc. 3-4 degree wont hurt anything as long as its with acceptable range of 76-84f and the ramp up and down is gradual and not sudden.
