Lighting schedule?
Hey people! Well my tank is setup so that it gets quite a bit of natural light in the morning. Right now I have my timer turn on about 10 am Chicago time and my blues are at 100% ( LED's) for 40 min then the light come on at (40-50% power) and then turn off at 9 then the blues go for 40 and turn off. I am thinking about having my lights come on around six ( average sunrise is 6:15 here right now and sunset is 6:45-7:45) I know my tank gets enough natural light to "wake up" my clowns, anemones and corals but my clowns still don't move just like they are snoozing but awake. I also want my clowns to lay eggs and I know I need to keep them fed constantly. I am still in highschool and I leave at 7:45am and don't get home till 6:30-7pm at the latest so right now I only feed them once maybe twice a day within 2-3 hours.
I am trying to decide if the blues come on at 6 then whites at 6:40 by the time I get up or finished getting ready for school I could feed then before I leave and again when I get home. Any suggestions on this? |
