Bright green stuff in my sand bed...
I have some bright green stuff forming under my sand bed. I can see it against the glass just bellow the surface of my sand. Does anyone know what this is? How do I remove it? Or...should I remove it?? Thanks again...

A picture would help a lot! Sounds like green algae however. Increased flow, reduced nutrients is the solution.

I wouldn't worry about it. Over time, the glass beneath your sand bed will take on all kinds of different colors. As long as your not seeing an abundance of algae on the front glass, the side glass, your rocks, the pumps, etc you should be ok.
