Looking for three 5+ G containers

Looking for glass or acrylic containers that need to fit in my fish closet and be used for three part dosing. Width available 23 inches preferable can go up to 31 inches if have to. Will need a lid with each Any thoughts are appreciated?

Get the black screw on lids at Home Depot. They are the greatest things ever. They have an o-ring seal, no evaporation!

Thanks Scott: Important to have clear view of contents so I need glass or acrylic and dimension (width) of all three containers to not exceed the dimensions noted above of 23 or 31 inches.

You could always DIY what you need out of acrylic.

Thanks for putting the idea in my head. I needed another project.

I don't know if you need square shaped containers, but the 5 gallon drinking water containers work perfectly. Clear, cheap, they have a handle so are easy to move, durable and the opening is small enough that evaporation is minimal (but it's easy enough to cover with clear kitchen wrap if you want).

Thanks Frog The point of interest/importance is the space in the closet.. Max width available for all three containers has to be less than 23 inches preferably and for sure no more than 31..

Gotcha. I was thinking that size was per container.

Do U really need 5g per containers? That's a lot of solution. What sized tank do you have ?

I use 1g containers for a 65g and dilute the solution very heavily & dose 200ml to 240ml per day and my containers go 21 days before they need refilling. If I concentrated the solutions more I could get ~100 days out of the CA & ALK if I wanted based on adding 1dKH/20ppm per day (I don't auto dose Mg).

So I'm guessing you could get by just fine on smaller containers unless you have an enormous system with really high usage.

just a heads up but the mag will not be needing used as much as the alk and cal so you could get by with a much smaller container for the mag and leave you with more room for the other 2 containers.

you are right shifty I can use smaller container for the mag. Looks will be nicer for same size containers
frog: I do have a rather large system of approx 700g with 500g for DT. I buy the 5g containers and use them now for dosing but they do not look neat with my setup, shown here:

Wow a really nice set you up have there. I had no idea it was a 700 you had so yea I understand now. Perhaps the container store has something that will work for you.

Hi Joel: Tank would have to have specific dimensions ie no wider than 9 inches each and a tight lid to contain chemicals,, If a fish tank fits those requirements it would work great
