Berghia Nudibranchs
I recently set up a 160g predator/reef tank. A buddy of mine gave me some LR that he didnt know had aiptasia on it. Because of the build of the tank, its really hard to get in there to treat the aiptasia with any chemical treatment.
The tank has 2 wrasses, a volitans lion, minniatus grouper, ribbon eel, and brittle starfish. Most of these things are going to eat any peps that I put in to try to kill the aiptasia and I feel like it is pretty likely that they would eat the berghia as well. I was hoping someone either had experience or knows someone in the charlotte area that sells berghia. Not looking to pay such high cost+shipping to risk them getting eaten. Ive thought about getting a copperbanded butterfly but am still hesitant. Any other tips on the aiptasia problem would be awesome. Theyre starting to kill 2 corals. |
