Light for sump. Is this good enough??

I just bought Philips 13w=60w daylight deluxe cfl. Brightness is 860Lumens and the light appearance is 6500k. Will this be good for macro an cheato?? I had a 5000k 800 lumen 14w and my macro did not do well. It Ll died. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1400626932.329392.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1400626955.145090.jpg

Generally algae growth is better under lower kelvin lights.

Spend a little more money and get the Utilitech Pro LED Par20 Flood, Natural Daylight (5000k). Algae grows like mad in my sump under this light, less power usage and I should get roughly 9 years of use from it.

My mistake, it's at Lowes:

They show 2 different K rating bulbs. A 3000k and a 5000k. Get the 5000k
