OC Clowns Fighting after Transfer to DT!!
I have had 2 OC Clowns in my 10g QT for over a month. They were very small, less than an inch, when first put in. They were also very well behaved and seemed to get along with one another for the entire month. Today I transferred them to my 56g DT. One is now slightly bigger than the other, maybe about 1/4 inch larger. For the first hour they behaved much like they did in the QT. After an hour of hanging out together the smaller one started chasing and nipping at the face of the larger one. The smaller one has continued this behavior for the last four hours by chasing the larger one all over the tank.
What's going on? Is this normal behavior? Why did this start shortly after transfer the the DT? Thanks!

They are establishing dominance. The larger will be the female and the smaller the male. The pecking order should calm down in a few weeks. It's normal.

Give it a couple days and they will work it out.
