two skimmers?

I have a new setup that has a pretty large load on it I currently have two skimmers on the same tank I hear this won't work but both seem to be pulling gunk. So is this a bad idea or can it stay like this?

If it's working for you I don't see why not. I would think one properly sized skimmer would be more efficient however.
