New Bristleworm, good or bad?
Hey all,
I'm used to seeing the brown and orange bristleworms, but I saw one creeping around that looked different. Is this the notorious fireworm (bad?) or just another variety of good bristleworm? (Sorry about the bad quality and large size) If bad, how should I get rid of it? I've seen Arrow Crabs mentioned. I have a 75 Gal FOWLR, sixline wrasse, a few snails, some Chromis, Emerald Crab, Peppermint Shrimp, and some Gobies. Thanks |

If it is very large, you may want to remove it just because the bristle can hurt if you touch them, but yes, as a general rule, bristle worms are your friend.

Make sure you get some gloves for when you stick your hand in the tank. I use breeders gloves. They leak a bit but keep the stings away. If you are like me, and most reefers I believe, your hand(s) are in the tank almost daily.
